Jeff Greene, president of Greene Classic Limousines in Atlanta, Ga., was elected president of the National Limousine Association unanimously by the members of the NLA Board of Directors at their meeting on February 25 in Las Vegas. He was elected by the NLA membership to his current three-year board tenure in the 2005 election as an At Large candidate and first elected to the board in the 2002 election as a Southeast Region candidate. Greene succeeds Scott Solombrino, president and chief executive officer of Dave El Chauffeured Transportation Network in Chelsea, Mass., who remains on the board for one year but steps down from the position of president after four years of leadership.In addition to Greene, the board also elected the other four members of the 2006 NLA Executive Committee including: First Vice President Diane Forgy, Overland Limousine Service, Shawnee Mission, Kans.(’06-’09 At Large); Second Vice President Gary Bauer, Bauer’s Limousine & Transportation Service, San Francisco, Calif. (’06-’09 West Region); Secretary Barbara Curtis, Two Step Limousine, Inc., Littleton, Colo. (’05-’08 West Region); and Treasurer Bob Beutel, All Star Transportation Inc., Royal Oak, Mich. (’04-’07 Central Region). Bauer and Forgy now are in the first year of their second three-year board terms. Curtis and Beutel are in the second year and third year, respectively, of their first terms of NLA governance. Other members of the 2006 NLA Board of Directors are operators Rich Azzolino, Gateway Limousines, Burlingame, Calif. (’04-’07 West Region), Carla Boroday, Associated Limousine Services, Inc. (’06-’09 Southeast Region). Bauer, Boroday, Forgy and Renehan were elected to their second three-year terms and Herring and Qua were chosen for their first three-year terms on the NLA Board of Directors this past December. John Sinibaldi, Carey – Oregon, Keizer, Ore., who completed his second three-year term, and Mike Sobol, Carey South Florida, North Miami, Fla., who finished one three-year term, concluded their board service at the February 25 meeting.
